Prerunners With the Dirt Still On
By Devin B.
A clean prerunner is a prerunner that has not done its job yet. The trucks in this set wear their miles right on the bodywork: mud up the fenders, faded orange paint, a red, white and blue livery on a Chevrolet that looks like it wants a dry lake bed.
The formula is simple to describe and hard to do right. Take a pickup, give the suspension room to move, wrap it in serious off-road tires and build it to hit rough ground at speed. The shapes tell you what each truck is for. Look at the wheel travel, the height of the fenders and how much tire sits in each opening.
These are straight shots from Las Vegas, with the dirt left on. Nobody washed anything for the camera, and that is how we like them.
