Chevelles, Camaros and a Firebird: Muscle, Hood Up

By Devin B.

Pop the hood and the conversation starts itself. That is how American muscle has always worked, and this set from Las Vegas proves it still does.

The Chevelles carry this gallery: gray on red-lipped wheels, dark, maroon and a white SS convertible, every one of them with the hood open for inspection. Behind them come the Camaros, from a white third-generation car to a newer one with a carbon fiber hood and a front splitter. A dark green fourth-generation Trans Am and a yellow C6 Corvette round out the lineup.

Decades separate some of these cars, but the idea has not moved much. Big power, a long hood and a stance that looks fast parked. Look closely at the engine bays and the wheels, because that is where each owner starts to show their hand.
